Definition

What is a western syndicate?.

A divided or “Western” syndicate is one in which the members stand alone. When a member of such a syndicate has sold its allocation—or bracket—it has no further liability. This is in direct contrast to the undivided—or Eastern—syndicate in which the members have a continuing liability, at their original bracket, for any unsold securities.

Semi abandoned

This blog has joined the legions of semi-abandoned blogs, as you can tell. Check Twitter and Facebook to see what is going on.

I will still post things from time to time over here when I am just looking for someplace to upload something. But it won't be on a regular basis anymore.

I do have a backlog of old items that I eventually intended to post here. I will go through some of those and put them up. But some of them were from a long time ago and I may not remember why I put them in my backlog. That is just a warning in advance in case it doesn't seem to make any sense. (What? Doesn't make any sense? Here?)
